Gold tends to fade over time due contact with our skin, sweat, clothes, perfumes, or different surfaces our jewel is in contact with.
To make your Jewelry retain its shine for a long time here are a few very useful tips to help:
- Avoid direct contact with water, soaps, perfumes, body moister, makeup, abrasive or corrosive materials.
- Don’t wear your jewelry while you sleep, take a bath or working out. Avoid using it in the beach, pool, saunas or Jacuzzis or expose it to extreme heat or wheat weather. If your piece has been in contact with your sweat, we recommend cleaning it after wearing it by soaking your jewel in regular warm water and dry it after with a soft cloth.
- When you finish your day, clean up your piece with a dry soft cloth and store it in its protective pouch.
Don’t forget that your jewels are delicate. Treat them always with care storing them in a protective pouch while you are not wearing it. Avoid hitting, pulling or twisting them. We recommend giving maintenance every two or three years with us or with your local jeweler and your pieces will remain always as brand new.
